Melissa Larsen LCSW

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have a passion for assisting clients with many of life’s challenges. Therapy with me is a collaborative experience where we treat the whole person and clients learn to advocate for themselves and their needs. I understand the importance of using humor and encourage everyone to be their authentic self. I have past experiences with working in substance use but I also love working with adults, teens, couples, first responders, substance use, and those struggling with sexual health and intimacy concerns. I use a person-centered approach and am flexible to the needs of my client. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), and IFS (Internal Family Systems) models of therapy. I incorporate a variety of approaches, including Narrative Therapy, Psychoanalytic Theory, Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. During life's toughest moments, it takes extreme courage to seek support. It is my hope that we can build a therapeutic bond that will assist you in growing into your best self.
